Kahlua Trifle

It's like heaven in your mouth😍Even though there is a little bit of alcohol in this dessert its spread out & if served in moderate portions it can still be ok for kids. This is a favorite of mine!

This is the first recipe that I have developed and shared. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family that I tested it on did.

This uses Splenda brown sugar blend, so it's lighter in sugar, but by no means a true diabetic recipe. This could easily be made with regular brown sugar if you so choose also, and the amounts are given for that. It's sweet and creamy and delicious with a scoop of ice cream on top.

This is a great drink with milk over ice, or great for baking with, just many ways to use or drink

It's a nice light dessert that's really simple and easy to make!

The recipe that follows is called a Strawberry Shortcake Trifle and not Strawberry Shortcake as it incorporates vanilla pudding instead of ice cream. It has become my go-to dish when I am asked to bring dessert for a crowd. It’s easy and everybody likes strawberries, cake, pudding, and whipped cream. When I make this recipe I usually have some leftovers as not everything will fit in the pan, so even if I leave my dish behind at the party, I know that a midnight snack awaits me at home! You can also readily adapt this recipe for folks that are on a low sugar diet by substituting Splenda for the sugar in the strawberries and using artificially sweetened pudding and whipped topping.

I searched the Internet for the perfect kicked-up coffee drink with no luck, so I just made up my own!

My 10yr help make this , he had so much fun. A good dessert if your making a new dish and your not sure if the kids will eat it ... just set this big bad boy out on the table at dinner time and watch dinner disappear to get that dessert.

I starter off making chocolate brownie trifles but wanted to try something new and different. I made a lemon one and the family loved it but now this one is their all time favorite. It's requested at every holiday dinner.

Liqueur made from coffee beans always has a very high alcohol content.And it doesn't taste like Kahlua.I live in a country where Kahlua isn't available in shops. I usually buy it in duty-free import shops. When I tried instant coffee, it tasted really similar to Kahlua, so I did a bit of experimenting.In order to get this how I like it, I made it over 10 times.This time, I used 35 % Eau Du Vie (sweet brandy). I can't drink strong alcohol because of my age, so I only used 120 ml. If you use 150 ml it's quite strong -- I think probably the same as Kahlua. Probably.... the real stuff should be around 20%. I wondered if I could make a non-baked sweet using hazelnuts. The caramelized hazelnuts I made were delicious, so I decided to try them in a dessert.Caramelized hazelnuts are so delicious that you can't stop eating them on their own. If you can keep them tightly sealed so that they don't get humid, they'll keep for a while and are very handy to have. For 2 glasses worth. Recipe by mayuminamina

Super easy Trifle..Kid friendly recipe...I also have a sour cream pound cake recipe, that I used for this .so easy to make one and cheaper than the frozen stuff. (Take a look it’s in my recipes somewhere)This is great to take to any get together.
