The French " Crepe " word for a very thin pancake.if you want to make sweet , prepare this recipe adding 2 tablespoons sugar to the batter. You can sacked and wrap in a plastic bag or foil in the freezer for 3 months . Just place plastic wrap between crepes to be frozen will make it easier to separate them to thaw. French Crèpes
I love these with vanilla yogurt and peaches inside. But they're equally delicious with syrup, or cinnamon & sugar, or almost anything else you can conceive of!Also amazing as savoury crèpes for dinner, but you'll want to leave the sugar and vanilla out then, and maybe throw some herbs in instead, depending on what your intend to have as fillings.

Crêpes

Basic Crêpes
Totally in love 😍 🥰 with this recipe that I found in one of my favorite food bloggers pages in Instagram. It’s thin and tender and deliciously buttery 😋 You can use any kinds of fillings you like. My favorite is always hazelnut spread and fresh strawberries 🍓 Hmmm now I’m thinking of making the chocolate version of this yummy crepe. What do you think? Do you also like chocolate crepe? 😊Please follow my Instagram @jenscookingdiary (Indonesian recipes) or @jenscookdineandtravel (English recipes) 🙏🏻

Crepes
Ideally it's good to let the mixture set for 30 mins to allow all the starches blend for a full flavour. I add brown sugar (or any sugar) to give it a little crispness and sweetness - totally optional.

Basic Crêpes Sucrées
At first I was adding sugar and butter to my crepes (as in the basic recipe), but at some point I realized they tasted fine without it, so I omitted it. Now I make my crepes with or without butter depending on the toppings I'm using (I do not add any sugar). When I'm using whipped cream or fruit as toppings, I cook these simple, light-colored sugar crepes until lightly golden brown. (This is just my preference.) They're fine without the brandy, but it adds fragrance to the finished product. Add as much butter as you like. Recipe by Yukiline

Apple Crepes
I make these at least every week! My boyfriend loves them for breakfast. :)

Chewy Chocolate Crepes
is a recipe for chewy crepe batter that I came up with through trial and error. It makes crepes just like the ones from a crepe stand. I based this chocolate crepe with the original plain crepe and the matcha version.Make sure you use cocoa powder (unsweetened) instead of hot chocolate mix or any with sweeteners. It's very important to heat the frying pan very well before pouring in the batter! I heat it until it smokes, then place it on top of a damp dish cloth for a few seconds to cool, and then start cooking the crepes.Be careful not to start a fire! Recipe by Hamumaki

Fresh Berry and Chocolate Crepe Cake
I always make the same old sweets but since the Christmas season is near, I wanted to make something with a delicious creamy taste. If adding blueberries to every layer makes the crepe cake too tall, you can add every other layer instead. In step 1, I microwaved at 600W for 40-50 seconds. You can use vanilla oil or vanilla extract. It's also fine if you omit it. For about 15 crepes of 1 pan size. Recipe by caramel-cookie

Self-made Crepe
Crepes are loved by children. But if you buy them, they are so expensive. If you make them at home you can have lots of fun cooking and they're cheap that's the best way.Books often tell you to make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and then add the egg. Actually if you do it the other way around and add the sifted dry ingredients to the liquids you'll get less lumps If you get rid of excess butter in the pan before cooking, you'll end up with a better crepe.
