  1. 2eggs
  2. 6 ozcaster sugar
  3. 5 1/2 ozsoft margarine
  4. 1finley grated lemon rind
  5. 6 ozself-raising flour
  6. 4 ozmilk
  7. 5 ozicing sugar
  8. 2 ozlemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    preheat oven to 180*c

  2. 2

    place eggs , caster sugar and margerine in a bowl and beat until smooth and fluffy

  3. 3

    stir in lemon rind then fold flour in . stir in milk and then spoon in cake tin

  4. 4

    to make the syrup place icing sugar and lemon juice in a small saucepan and heat gently

  5. 5

    prick the warm cake with a cake and then spoon syrup over top of cake and then leave to cool completley then dust icing sugar ontop of the cake

  6. 6
