Crispy Onion Rings

Ingredients

  1. 2 largeonions, sliced into rings
  2. 1 1/2 cupflour
  3. 1 cupmilk, depending on how thick you would like your onion rings
  4. 1 tspbaking soda
  5. 1 cupbread crumbs
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 1Salt and Pepper to taste
  8. 1Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oil for frying .

    Put flour, baking soda, and salt in a shallow bowl. Dip onions into the flour mixture to coat. Put onions aside.

    In the same dish that the onions were coated in, add the milk until blended.

  4. 4

    Put bread crumbs into another shallow dish. Dip the onions into the batter then into the bread crumbs. Do so with all of the onion.

    Fry a few at a time. DO NOT crowd the pot. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
