Ingredients

  1. Filling
  2. 1/4ground pork
  3. 1/4ground chicken
  4. 2 mediumsize carrot, shredded
  5. 1 cupstring beans, chopped
  6. 1/2 headcabbage, shredded
  7. 1 stickcelery,chopped
  8. 1 cuppalm heart or sweer potato, shredded
  9. 2 tbspfish sauce
  10. 1 headonion
  11. 1 clovegarlic
  12. 1/4peanut, crushed
  13. Wrapper
  14. 2 cupall-purpose flour
  15. 2raw eggs
  16. 2 tbspcooking oil
  17. 1/2 tspsalt
  18. 1 1/2milk
  19. Sauce
  20. 2 tbspsoy sauce
  21. 3 tbspbrown sugar
  22. 2 cupwater
  23. 1 packageschicken cube
  24. 1 tbspminced garlic
  25. 2 tbspcornstarch diluted in 4 tbsp water
  26. 1 pinchsalt & crushed pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    In a heated pan, pour the cooking oil and saute the garlic and onion

    Add the pork and chicken until color turns to brown

  3. 3

    Put the chicken cubes and add 1/2 cup of water then simmer until tender then add the fish sauce then mix.

    add the palm heart or sweet potato until soft

    Put the string beans, celery, carrots (Do not over cook)

    Last, put the cabbage and let it cook for 3 mins.

    Set aside.

    For wrapper, In a mixing bowl crack the eggs and beat.

    Put the egg and beat then add the dry ingredients.

    Mix it well and then put the cooking oil. Mix but do not over mix.

    In a nonstick pan, turn the stove in a low fire and grease it with butter.

    Pour the mixture for about a half of cup and then tilt the pan until the mixture is evenly.

    Cook the mixture until the top part is dry.

    Remove the cooked mixture and put it a dry and flat surface. Let it cool for a few mins.

    For sauce, In a saucepan add to cups of water and let it boil.

    Add the chicken cubes and let it mix thoroughly in the water then add the brown sugar. Mix.

    Put the soy sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Put the diluted cornstarch and then mix until the sauce thickens.

    Set Aside.

    In a plate, place the wrapper then put a spoonfull of vegetable filling, wrap it side by side.

    Put the sauce and garnish it with crushed peanut. Enjoy! Happy cooking :)
