quick Alfredo sauce

The servings and time is for the alfredo sauce only.My mum makes an amazing homemade alfredo sauce. I was craving it bad and found a little Italian lady on YouTube so I watched her make it since I couldn’t remember how my mum made it. We have a lot of Italians in our family so I knew this would be close and delicioso! I also tweaked it a little bit since we like cream cheese in ours. I used half and half since I didn’t have heavy cream, but it still is very good!

Any pasta is fine to have with this, but penne is preferred

You can buy this sauce in a jar, but that does not compare to freshly made sauce!

Keep this recipe on hand for even the busiest weeknight-- it's ready in 15 minutes and comes together with just a few ingredients.

This is my simplest (and quickest) Alfredo recipe. If this does good I'll share my more "advanced" version. Serve with pasta or as a dipping sauce. Enjoy!#February2026

Excellent!! Especially with grilled chicken!!

This is the tastiest alfredo sauce that I've tried. It's definitely not diet food, but sometimes it's worth it to just indulge. Make sure to use freshly shredded parmesan, as it will melt better and yield a smoother sauce.

My twist on a traditional favorite. I wanted to make an alfredo sauce that wasn't laden with butter and cream (there is normally a ton of both). I had heard once you can substitute evaporated milk or cream cheese. I had cream cheese on hand so decided to try that. This turned out better than expected!

Decided one day after drinking some wine that I would use my Alfredo Sauce recipe to make my fiancé chicken alfredo lasagna. Turned out surprisingly delicious according to him. Tried to replicate the recipe sober since I didn’t record what I did, turned out exactly how he remembered it. This time I wrote it down.
