  2. 1Non stick cooking spray
  3. 1 1/3 cupMilk
  4. 1/4 cupPure Vegetable Oil
  5. 2 cupSelf rising enriched white corn meal mix
  6. 1 tbspSugar

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 450°F.

    Coat a 9 inch oven proof skillet or an 8 x8 inch baking pan with non stick spray.

    Place skillet in oven for 8-10 minutes or until hot.

    In a medium mixing bowl, beat an egg. Stir in milk, oil, sugar and cornmeal. Mix until smooth. Batter should be creamy and pourable. If not add 1-2 tablespoons of milk.

    Pour mixture into skillet or pan.

    Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
