warm milk, butter, oil, sugar in saucepan. *not hot-warm for yeast* Add yeast, mix let sit 5 mins

*Can be done by hand or mixer. Mixer ( add all ingrediants, mix till ball forms. By hand- add one cup flour to milk batter. mix well.

add salt, mix well. add 1/4 cup at a time and mix well.

you may may need more or less flour. add in 1/4 cup at a time then kneed in bowl w hand.

kneed till dough is even and not so sticky.

place in lightly oiled bowl to rise dough in dark spot for 1 1/2 hours.

press dough,kneed, roll into 4 -13 inch rods for braiding. but this dough may work out better as rolls. so roll it into balls and place on a cookie sheet to rise.

press ends and place onto a lightly buttered cookie sheet for best results. using a loaf pan will leave bread too moiste.

let rise for about 45 mins. instead of a floured surface, kneed on a lightly oiled surface.

bake 350 for 30-45 mins or untill brown
