I prefer this anytime over any other cake coz it is simple with fragrance of fresh vanilla into it, and doesnt need any icing sugar on topand no refrigeration required ;)... enjoy it with tea /coffee or as a quick dessert bite :)

Ingredients

  1. 180 gramsbutter
  2. 3/4 cupsugar
  3. 2 eacheggs
  4. 1 1/2 cupallpourpose flour
  5. 1 tspvanilla essence
  6. 1/2 cupmilk
  7. 1 tspbaking powder

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven between 170-180 deg.

    Take a mixing bowl and whip together butter and sugar til the mixture is creamy. Add in vanilla and mix well

  3. 3

    Add one egg at a time and beat well.add in the milk

  4. 4

    Seive flour and baking powder into the mixture and fold this micture with a wooden spoon. Do not use blender... Just fold it again and again.

  5. 5

    Put it in a broad baking dish and put it in oven for 15 to 20 mins or til a toothpick comes out clean when poked at center.
