Ingredients

Soaking : 8 hou
4-5 servings
  1. 1 cupWhole Green Gram Beans
  2. 1/2 cupbesan flour
  3. 1 cupspinach (roughly chopped)
  4. 1onion chopped
  5. 1/2 tspcarrom seeds (ajwain seeds)
  6. 2 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1 tspcoriander cumin powder
  9. to tastesalt and sugar
  10. 1 tspsemolina
  11. some oil and butter
  12. Grated Ginger Chilli (1 inch of ginger and 3-4 green chilis)

Cooking Instructions

Soaking : 8 hou

    Soak Green Moong Dal overnight and grind into a batter. Add 1/2 cup besan flour, 1 tsp of semolina and mix well. Add little water at a time. Batter consistency should not be too thin.

    Add salt, sugar, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder, carrom seeds, chopped spinach and onions,grated chilli ginger and mix well.

    On a nonstick pan add a spoonful of batter, add tsp of oil and cook till brown and crisp from both the ends.

    You can make thick or thin pudlas as per your choice and apply some butter on it.

    Serve them with sweet mango pickle which goes best with chilas.

    Serve hot with tea, cofee
