TX's Style ~ Raspberry Soda

Lisa @cook_3935393
You can use a different type of soda, I like the store brand grapfruit soda because it isn't as sweet as other lemon-lime sodas. I add the club soda also in order to eliminate even more sugary taste.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Puree 1 cup of thawed raspberries with 2-3 oz of water add a tsp of lemon juice and a couple of pkgs of nutrasweet, strain to remove the seeds, reserve the remaining for later use.
- 2
In a 24 oz air tight container add, grapfruit soda, club soda and raspberry puree.
- 3
Get yourself a glass, fill with ice and pour your raspberry drink for a refressing summer drink.

Fizzy Yuzu Tea & Soda Gummies
We're close to the end of yuzu tea season. I made this recipe in hope to use it all up.These gummies are rather soft. If you like it hard, please add more gelatin.I recommend you use soda that's not too cold. It's better if it's about room temperature. You can also use jam instead of yuzu tea. Recipe by Okatsugi

Fizzy Soda Tea
We often make ice tea in cold water in the summer. I wondered what it would taste like made with clear soda. I tried it out, and the result was different from tea diluted with soda water - the tea flavor was rich and pronounced, resulting in a very enjoyable drink. You can use something like a sealable bento box to rest and steep the tea in instead of a container like the one in the photos. Fizzy Soda Jelly
I wanted to make a refreshing jelly. If you use cold soda when adding gelatin, it will form lumps. The fruit will sink if too big, so cut into small pieces or use a shallow cup. For 2 servings. Recipe by Takotako

Soda Jelly
This slightly fizzy refreshing jelly is good for summer. I used plane carbonated water and golden brown sugar so it turned out Champagne, but you can use your favourite soda. I found fresh berries and Israeli melon at veggie stand, so I used them this time. Enjoy the rest of summer with your favourites :)

Fig Soda Bread
I found this soda bread recipe when I wanted to make bread but was feeling too lazy to let the dough rise.Since I love figs, I used semi-dried figs this time, but nuts or any other dried fruits should taste good also. When you add the milk and yogurt, add about 30 ml each time and check the consistency, instead of adding it all at once. If the dough seems too wet, dust it with some flour to hold it together. Cold bread will be tasty again if you reheat it in the microwave. Recipe by ayaico

Soda and Fruit Jello Drops
I thought of a recipe that combines the refreshing flavor of soda with seasonal ingredients. This time I used strawberries, grapes (red globe variety), and blueberries, but you can use 1-2 kinds of your favorite fruit. When using canned fruit, first thoroughly drain the water. Any round container such as a cup or teacup is suitable. For 6 pieces. Recipe by caramel-cookie

Pina Soda Sorbet
Made baileys bubblegum so I thought I try something different. I have 100g of this on my warm porridge oats with pineapple for breakfast (36 calories) & it made loads, but it will be great in a tall glass with pina colada

Masala Lemon Soda ( Soda sikanji)
In India I found this amazing drink in their street drinks.Very popular over there. It adds a zing to your taste buds & drinking this helps in digestion when you have a heavy meal. I requested a guy who was making this, he generously showed me how to. He used sugar syrup & concentrated lemon syrup. I replaced those with sugar & Foster Klark's lemon.

Redcurrant Soda Bread
I tried making this with redcurrants instead of figs.Don't add the milk and yoghurt all at once. Leave about 30 ml and keep an eye on it as you add a little at a time. If the dough is wet, dust it with flour and bring it together. Once it has cooled down, it's tasty if you heat it up again in the microwave for a few seconds. Recipe by ayaico

Sparkling Cherry Rhubarb Lemonade
Happened to come upon a bit of rhubarb this summer by accident. The only thing I knew to do with rhubarb was pie! 🤭 I wanted to find different and unique recipes so it all wouldn't go to waste! This was delicious. Thank You #caramelpotatoes #onerecipeonetree #rhubarb #lemonade

Boozy Cherry Limeade
I had a cocktail last week, in a restaurant, that had the same name as my drink. I was sort of embarrassed by how quick I plowed through 2 of them in a short period of time but oh well, I’m over it 😆😂I recreated theirs. I made mine almost sugar free but wasn’t about to skip my grenadine♥️😂 it’s all the things I love in a potent, easy, light fizzy cocktail that doesn’t gag you from the sweetness. In my opinion, too much sugar in beverages is absolutely nauseating. I didn’t even garnish it because I couldn’t find my maraschino cherries lol next time I’ll probably add fresh mint.

Fizzy Minty Rose

Black Raspberry Ice Cream
Back in the late 70's, early 80's, there was this ice cream shop in the Provincetown section of Cape Cod, called The Big Bad Wolf. I barely remember it, but my family loved it. Supposedly, they had the best ice cream. To this day, one of my brothers still raves about their black raspberry ice cream. We have tried it at other places, but he claims that they do not taste the same. BBW had the best.15 years ago, when I first got an ice cream maker, I was determined to make my own version. First obstacle? Black raspberries are hard to come by in NYC. Solution? My pops suggested that I use black raspberry jelly. Second obstacle? That jelly is hard to find around here, unless you want to buy an overpriced brand. When I am lucky enough to find the jelly, I have made the ice cream. This past year, Amazon started selling the jelly for a great price. That was a game changer. I can now make this ice cream more often. My picky brother says that mine is the best that he has had, but BBW is slightly better. I'll take it.Enjoy!

Raspberry Jam
I started growing raspberries and blackberries last year. This is the first jam I've ever made and I am addicted to its deliciousness. The fragrance and flavor is great if you use granulated sugar. I usually use lemon juice. I used citric acid once because I read in a book that it really brings out the savory flavor of the fruit, but I couldn't really tell any difference. (Apparently you can substitute lemon juice for kiwi or fig) You should use a pot that can withstand acidity, such as an enameled or stainless steel pot (thought enameled is best). This is quite sweet and sour, so if you want a sweeter jam, taste it in Step 4 and adjust the amount of sugar. Recipe by Genpokin
