Seven-Colored Tapioca Pearls and Lychee Compote Seven-Colored Tapioca Pearls and Lychee Compote
I was able to get my hands on fresh lychees, which I love, so I decided to make compote out of them. Canned lychee are also delicious, but they are too sweet, and the preservatives that are used concern me... but I am using artificially colored tapioca pearls. I recalculated the ingredient amounts by referring to a homemade canned peach style recipe that I made 2 years ago. I wasn't quite sure how to use the seven-colored tapioca pearls, which are different from the popular black tapioca pearls. I came up with this summery dessert by pairing the seven-colored tapioca pearls and the lychee compote. If you add the tapioca pearls while the lychee compote syrup is still hot, the flavor sinks in and it tastes even more delicious. This will be the key point of this recipe. It's delicious chilled well, but if it's chilled for too long, the tapioca pearls will harden and the texture will not be as good. Calculate when to start chilling them in the refrigerator, so you will be able to serve them at your desired time. Recipe by Munchkin's Mom cookpad.japan -
Winter Melon Tea with Tapioca Pearls Winter Melon Tea with Tapioca Pearls
A refreshing summer drink to beat the heat—winter melon tea is a great choice, especially when paired with chewy tapioca pearls.Tips1. You can adjust the concentration and sweetness of the winter melon tea by varying the amount of water to suit your taste.2. You can cook a smaller batch of tapioca pearls, just enough to consume in one day, as they lose their texture over time. Feng LinTranslated from Cookpad Taiwan -

I wanted to make from scratch tapioca because, although it's a Boston dish, you hardly see it these days!!! So, I saw a bunch of recipes that were overly complicated, simplified them all down into one easier one, and the kids have been gobbling it up since!!! Sean -

Besides its amazingly delicious street food, Indonesia 🇮🇩 is also popular for its traditional desserts. They are mostly made of rice flour, tapioca flour, sago flour, coconut milk, coconut sugar, grated coconut, mung beans, cassavas, sweet potatoes, and bananas. This Purple Sweet Potato Steamed Talam Cake is one of them. It’s one of my childhood favorite cakes 😋 I ate this cake almost every day and never got bored of it 😁If you like my recipes, please follow my Instagram @jenscookingdiary @jenscookdineandtravel jenscookingdiary -

Jiggly Sesame Tofu Jiggly Sesame Tofu
Since the store-bought type is a little expensive, I decided to make it at home. I tried out many recipes and came up with this. You can also substitute soy milk for the milk. You could also use sesame paste instead of ground sesame. Try mixing in matcha, cocoa power or coffee! It's also good to make it as a side dish without adding sugar.
