Dolma

Dolma or Cabbage rolls is a great dish for those who like varieties of food. I don't really know its origin but it may be Asian, Mediterranean or Eastern Europe. People buy many cabbage while shopping for their foodstuff but can't use it completely or maybe it gets spoilt when the temperature is higher. Just get the following ingredients and make a Dolma.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Boil the cabbage in a pot with salt and water until soft.
- 2
Remove it from the pot and place it in a bowl of cold water for it to cool down a little.
- 3
Put it on a tray, cut the mid-root out and peel each leaf separately. Scrape off the mid-stem of each leaf for easy folding.
- 4
While the cabbage is boiling, mix the minced meat, rice, tomato paste, onion, garlic, parsley and all other ingredients in a bowl.
- 5
Flatten a cabbage leaf on a tray, stuff the mixture in, fold it gently in rolls covering all the openings.
- 6
Arrange them in a baking tray or Non-stick wide frying pan that can contain all at the same time with the edge facing down. Cover them with unused cabbage leaves.
- 7
Fetch a little of the water you boiled your cabbage with, put a little tomato paste and pour it into the frying pan from the sides. Cover it with a dinner plate.
- 8
Put it in the oven for atleast 45 minutes, then turn off the oven, leave it to cool off for like 5 minutes before bringing it out from the oven.
- 9
Pick out each one from the pan and keep it on a plate and it is ready to be served.

Cabbage rolls Cabbage rolls
I've never made cabbage rolls before. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever eaten cabbage rolls before. But the wife asked for them, and since I'm not the type to pass up a cooking challenge, I gave it a try. She said they were good, and I liked them too, so I'll count this as a success. Stuffed whole cabbage Stuffed whole cabbage
I do not want to say all of us but let say most of us know traditional roll stuffed cabbage leaves and in different countries there is a variety of stuffed cabbage leaves recipes. In Iran we make stuffed sweet-sour cabbage leaves – plus savoury version of the dish. But today I am going to introduce stuffed WHOLE CABBAGE . It was so excited to prepare this dish. It looks like a meat layered cake and actually some of my own friends thought it is a kinda cake but they found out no it is an entire whole stuffed cabbage :)For preparing this dish, you may use minced beef, lamb, turkey or pork . Or you may skip the the meat and go on with vegetables such as mushroom, carrot, bell pepper, aromatic fresh herbs, tomato. You also would need to have cheese cloth to hold whole cabbage head together.#dolma#cabbage#stuffed_cabbage Rozina Dinaa -

My godmother, taught us to make holubtsi, borscht, and perogies. I loved Holubtsi, but hated steaming, trimming, and rolling the cabbage leaves. So, I doctored the recipe to make it less time-consuming. It's not the 'real' thing, but it can be whipped up in a couple of hours. Pinky -

Fiber-Rich Keema Curry Fiber-Rich Keema Curry
I love curry brimming with lots of minced vegetables,so I made this. Just cutting up some veggies and mixing them in makes it taste amazing! The fruit has a distinct flavor and uses Java Curry; it was improved by the spices more than I expected . My boyfriend ate it, and was really surprised. He ended up eating all of it... I guess you could say it's healthy, but maybe he ate too much? You can use regular mixed ground meat, but using 80% beef: 20% chicken makes it light. I used mixed raisins (California, Sultana, green), but you could use just one variety. For 4 servings. Recipe by ochikeron cookpad.japan -
