Corn cutlets / corn kabab or/ corn patties are made with corn and potatoes. These are perfect for breakfast as well as evening snacks.
Tastes yumm with coriander and mint chutney.

Ingredients

20-30 minutes
2 people
  1. 2medium sized boiled potatoes
  2. 1 cupsweet corn
  3. 4 tbspcorn flour
  4. 2 tbspchickpea flour
  5. 2green chilli finely chopped
  6. 2 tbspfresh green coriander finely chopped
  7. 1/4 inchginger finely chopped
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 1/2 tbspCoriander powder
  10. 1/2 tbspcumin powder
  11. 1/2 tbspchaat masala
  12. 1/4 tbspred chilli powder
  13. as neededOil for frying

Cooking Instructions

20-30 minutes

    Peel and mash the boiled potatoes.

    Coarsely grind the sweet corns.

  3. 3

    Take a big bowl. Put mashed potatoes and ground corn in it.

  4. 4

    Add all the dry spices,chickpea flour,corn flour, green chilli,ginger and coriander leaves. Mix well.

    Make patties with this mixture.

  6. 6

    Make a slurry with 2 tbsp corn flour and little water.

  7. 7

    Coar the patties with this paste and deep fry them. Instead of frying you can shallow fry or grill too.

    Serve hot with coriander and mint chutney or tomato sauce.
