This is the first time I'm making cookies for this occasion, especially because my older little one is starting to ask for them and, of course, mom indulges her. The recipe is very similar to my decorated butter cookies, except here I added a bit of orange zest, which can also be lemon, or just essence. I also provide some tips on which piping tips to use for each design and tricks on how to make them.

I had been making these cookies almost every Christmas since I was a child. My youngest daughter now makes them. You can use sprinkles to decorate the cookies.

I am not sure where I got the recipe for these cookies, but have been making them at Christmas for over 40 years. They melt in your mouth! You can use any kind of nuts, but pecans are my favourite.

These butter cookies literally melts in your mouth.

These smells bring us a little closer to Christmas. I had wanted to make these cookies for a long time and taking advantage of the fact that I had a dinner with some friends, I made them to give them as gifts. I have made holes in the top so that they can be hung from the Christmas tree too
