Ingredients

30 minutes

  1. 4whole cabbage leaves, washed properly
  2. 1 tbspbutter
  3. 1 tbspfinely chopped garlic
  4. 1 tbspfinely chopped ginger
  5. 1finely chopped green chilli
  6. 2 tbspfinely chopped onions
  7. 2 tbspfinely chopped yellow bell pepper
  8. 2 tbspfinely chopped red bell pepper
  9. 2 tbspfinely chopped green capsicum
  10. 2 tbspmoong sprouts
  11. 1/2 tsporegano
  12. 1/2 tspchilli flakes
  13. 1 tspitalian seasoning
  14. 2 tbspgrated processed cheese
  15. 2 tbspchilli tomato sauce
  16. 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander leaves
  17. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Take whole cabbage leaves and wash them properly

  2. 2

    Now boil water in a big vessel, add the cabbage leaves and let them cook a little

  3. 3

    Cook them, until it changes it's colour and becomes little soft, then take them out in a strainer

  4. 4

    On the other hand prepare the stuffing, gather all the ingredients at one place like chopped onions, garlic, ginger, green chilli, tricolour bell peppers, oregano, chilli flakes and italian seasoning

    Heat butter in a pan and first put garlic, saute for few seconds, then add ginger and green chilli, saute again for few seconds, then add onions, saute for a minute, then add moong sprouts, saute for 2 - 3 minutes

    Now add tricolour bell peppers, mix nicely, cook for 2 - 3 minutes, then add salt, oregano, chilli flakes and italian seasoning

    Mix well, then switch off the gas and add chopped coriander, grated cheese and tomato chilli sauce, mix them nicely, the stuffing is ready

    Now take one cabbage leaf and place it on a surface, then it some stuffing mixture in the center and fold it from all the sides

    Seal the ends properly with a toothpick, in this way prepare the other rolls too

    Now heat water in a big vessel for steaming, place a big strainer over it and put the ready rolls in the strainer

  11. 11

    Cover the lid and steam for 15 minutes, after steaming it will look like this

  12. 12

    The leaves will become transparent, you can see the stuffing from outside only, arrange them in a serving plate and serve hot with any sauce or you can have it as it is
