Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  2. to tasteSalt
  3. 2 tablespoon + 1 tablespoon Ghee or butter
  4. to tasteRed chilli powder to sprinkle
  5. 1 tablespoonfinely chopped coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Mix wheat flour salt and ghee. Knead soft dough with enough water. Rest for 15-20 minutes. Then make balls from it. Take one ball and roll out roti by dusting. Roll out roti as thin as possible.

    Put kadai (inverted) on flame. When it is heated, Put prepared roti over it. Cook this side for 30-40 seconds. Then flip the side. Press roti with folded kitchen towel or cotton cloth all over it's surface. Cook until golden and crisp. Prepare all rotis like this.

    At the time of serving apply ghee over it. Sprinkle red chilli powder and spread chopped coriander leaves over it. Karari roti is ready to serve. Enjoy with tea or coffee.
