#greenveg Momos,a variation on the traditional dimsum,native to North Eastern states that border Nepal(where the dish originated),which is best served with fiery red chilli chutney, a very popular street food loved by all,specially the kids!
Here is a healthier twist to the original recipe by making the dough replacing the all- purpose flour with wholewheat flour and adding spinach to it..Stuffed with the goodness of green vegetables and protein-rich paneer,Spinach Paneer Momos is a delectable yet healthy recipe!! .

Ingredients

  1. For the dough:
  2. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  3. 1/2 cupall purpose flour
  4. 2 tbspcurd
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 200 gramsspinach(washed,blanched and pureed)
  7. For the stuffing:
  8. 250 gmspaneer(grated)
  9. Pinchsalt
  10. 1/2 tspsoy sauce
  11. 1/2 tspchilli sauce
  12. Pinchblack pepper powder
  13. 1 tspoil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Combine all the ingredients for the dough and make a soft pliable dough(use water if needed).

  2. 2

    Heat a pan.Add oil and grated paneer.Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

    Make small balls of the dough and stuff in 1 tsp of paneer filling giving the shape of momos.

  4. 4

    Steam the momos in a idli maker and serve hot with schezwan sauce.
