Simple Lightly Spicy Vegan Side Dish In 10 Minutes

Ingredients

4square Pre Fried Tofu
3large onion
2 tbspSpicy sauce / sambal sauce or sambal oelek
1 tbsplight soy sauce
2 tspbrown sugar

Cooking Instructions

With oil deep fry the pre Fried Tofu for 2 minutes till it's Lightly brown then drain and set aside

With 2 tbsp of oil pan fry the onion for about 1 minute then add in the Sambal oelek and stir to mix

Add in the light soy sauce and brown sugar and continue to stir fry for another 1 minutes then pour onto the cook Tofu and serve

Always goes well with white rice

I used firm tofu and sautéed it for a healthier option. I also replaced soy sauce with vegetarian oyster sauce and added mushrooms and garlic. It's delicious and so simple. Definitely going to make this dish again and again. Thanks!
