Sieve the flour,then add sugar, salt, baking powder and mix,rub the butter into the flour till the mixture becomes like crumbs.....

Now add water little by little,start kneading together,until your dough comes together and is nice and soft.cover and let d dough rest for 8-10 minutes....

For the fillings;in a pan add oil, ginger and garlic paste,saute for about 30secs,then add ur minced meat and fry it for some minutes.add sliced onions,carrots, scotch bonnet, seasoning cubes,curry,thyme and mix spices.cover and let it cook till everything is well cooked,add green pepper, dissolve corn flour in 1/3cup of water and add(it keeps the meat pie moist and super tasty)

Divide the dough into 8 balls, depending on the size of meat pie you would like.add about a 1tbsp or 2tbsp of filling in the center of rolled out dough,pinch to seal the edge...
