The family tradition around the table on this day is to say because we are grateful and realize how blessed we are with everything we have. We have already thought about the menu and mashed potatoes is one of the dishes that everyone expects at the Thanksgiving table.
Our favorite mashed potato is gratin to go with the stuffed turkey for Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day. I am grateful to my mom who helped me prepare dinner with all her recipes and secrets.
