Ingredients

Overnight
6 to 8 servings
  1. 5 lbsmedium russet potatoes
  2. 1/2 cup2% milk
  3. 1/4 cupbutter at room temperature
  4. 1beaten egg
  5. 1/2 cupchopped green onions
  6. 8 ozcream cheese
  7. Salt and pepper, for taste

Steps

Overnight
  1. 1

    Peel and boil potatoes until fork tender

  2. 2

    In a large mixing bowl, add milk, butter, cream cheese (cut cream cheese in chunks), green onion, and salt and pepper. Mash potatoes with beaters. Mix in beaten egg.

  3. 3

    Put in 9x13 baking dish. Cover in refrigerator over night.

  4. 4

    Cook covered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, possibly more if removing straight from the refrigerator.
