I love this recipe—it's my favorite! Sometimes I don't feel like making lunch, so I just make these instead. They're filling because they're large and packed with nutritious ingredients, yet they're still light and easy on the stomach.هند أسامة

Chickpea Flatbread (Farinata) Chickpea Flatbread (Farinata)
Also known as cecina or farinata, and in Livorno as '5 e 5'.This is an old dish that, like most humble recipes, requires just a few ingredients and simple preparation. The Livorno version should be thin, soft inside, and have a crispy crust on top.It should be eaten piping hot with a generous sprinkle of black pepper, maybe inside a small baguette or focaccia. Tonight, I'm happy with a slice of my homemade bread...Ideally, it's baked in a wood-fired oven, but you can get great results at home with a regular oven set to its highest temperature!
