  2. 1 cuppearl millet
  3. 1/2 cupwhole moong
  4. 1/4 cupyellow lentils (split moong)
  5. 1/4 cupchopped carrot
  6. 1/4 cupspring onion
  7. 2 tbsponion
  8. 1 tbspoil
  9. as neededChopped coriander leaves
  10. 1 tspchilli ginger paste
  11. 1/4 tspmustard seeds
  12. 1 cupchopped tomatoes
  13. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  14. 1/4 tspchilli powder
  15. 1/2 tsproasted coriander and cumin powder
  16. to tastesalt

    1. Soak bajra, moong dal, and whole moong for 4-5 hours.

  2. 2

    2. Pressure cook the pearl millet, moong dal, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander and cumin powder, salt, onion, carrots, tomatoes spring onion, and whole moong separately till 3 whistles on medium heat.

    3. Take a deep pan. Put the oil in it.

  4. 4

    4. Then add the mustard seeds. Once the mustard seeds crackle, add the ginger chilli paste, a little turmeric and the above cooked ingredients.

    5. Add water for the required consistency.

    6. Adjust the salt according to taste.

  7. 7

    7. Mix well.

  8. 8

    8. Cook for 2 minutes.

  9. 9

    9. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves! Enjoy with pickles, papad and ghee!
