Ingredients

  1. 250 gmsarbi/arvi
  2. 2green chillies
  3. 1 tspginger grated
  4. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  5. 1 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  7. 1 tsp dry mango powder/amchur powder
  8. 1/2 tsp carrom seeds/ajwain
  9. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  10. 2 tspcoriander powder
  11. 1 pinchhing
  12. as per tasteSalt
  13. 1/4 tsp Sugar (optional)
  14. as requiredCoriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    First boil/cook arbi for one whistle and let the pressure get down. After cooling peel arbi. In a kadhai add carom seeds, mustard seeds, hing,turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder,green chillies.

    Add coriander leaves and saute. Add garam masla.

    Add boiled and chopped arbi,salt,sugar and mix lightly.Let it get roasted till crispy from all sides.
