For the cake:

Beat the eggs and sugar until thick and pale (ribbon stage).

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Gently fold into the egg mixture, then add the vanilla extract and melted butter. Mix gently until just combined.

Pour the batter into a preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool. Poke holes all over the cake with a toothpick.

Soaking the cake:

Blend the three milks together and pour this mixture over the cake. Let it soak for 3 hours. Decorate with whipped cream and strawberries. Wash the strawberries, cook them with a little water and the 2 tablespoons of sugar, then let cool before using to decorate.
