Τζατζίκι
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Grate the cucumber using the coarse side of a box grater. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible, then add the cucumber to a bowl with the yogurt.
- 2
Crush the garlic cloves with a garlic press. If you don’t have one, grate them using the fine side of a grater, then add to the yogurt.
- 3
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Adjust the quantities to taste if desired.
- 4
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours to let the flavors blend, then serve.
- 5
Tip: It’s best to let the tzatziki rest before adding more garlic, as the garlic flavor will become stronger after sitting for a while.

Tzatziki Tzatziki
Or Cacik if you’re Turkish! This was going to be a full meal of a post. Sadly, my flatbreads didn’t prove well and fell flat, and my venison meatballs were too gamey. I don’t want to put a recipe up that tastes anything less than at least nice, so it’s limited to the one real success in last night’s meal, delicious tzatziki.I should probably be more dishonest in my posts. It was so good, I don’t want to share my Michelin star secrets, that’s what it is!Anyway, tzatziki is a Greek dip, which is fresh, delicious and goes brilliantly with any grilled or barbecued meat. It’s also lovely as is, for dipping a raw carrot, or a hunk of bread into.PS- Greek yoghurt, not ‘Greek Style’. The only one that’s easy to get in the UK is Total, which is now in most supermarkets. It’s both healthier and tastes creamier. Settling for second best here will severely limit the loveliness of the food! Ben Groom -

Tzatziki Sauce Tzatziki Sauce
I have been playing around with this recipe for a while now, and I finally decided to sit down and log how I made this sauce. I feel like I have a pretty solid idea down, but I am always open to improvements. This is my first recipe ever, so hopefully you will like it! I hope I can continue to create, share, and find new recipes with this awesome community. Thanks! * P.S. I have been working on the recipe because the 3/4 tbl of garlic powder gives it a strong garlic taste. Try about 1/2 tbl of garlic salt (instead of powder) for less garlic flavor, and more of a refreshing taste if you would like. Thanks and happy mixing! (Don't know if I would call this cooking yet haha) Sam Martyn -

Tzatziki Sauce Tzatziki Sauce
This is great on alot of different things, like grilled meat and veggies. If you use a regular cucumber instead of an English cucumber, be sure to scrape the seeds out before dicing it. Also, if using freshly chopped dill weed instead of dried, use about 1 tbsp. Christina -

Tzatziki dip Tzatziki dip
Tzatziki dip....classic Greek appetizer...there was a time when I was obsessed with Greek food...specially the dips...Everytime we went out I would insist on going to a restaurant which served authentic Greek food so that I could order a meze platter...but then I decided to make it at home so I could enjoy it whenever I wanted...and one of those dips is this easy to make and healthy tzatziki sauce or dip...it can be made in advance and is a perfect condiment for burgers or as a dip for pita bread or veggies...This is my contribution to #CookClick Sumeet Kaur (Recipes and more by Sumi) -

Kinda Tzatziki Kinda Tzatziki
Definitely not traditional. But I love it! Use what’s in your fridge. Goes great with some broccoli, carrots, chicken, beef, chips, with Indian food!!, grilled fish, etc. Cheryl -
