Tomato Raita

If you never had Indian raita, imagine thick yogurt whisked until smooth and creamy, then seasonings such as salt, pepper or chili powder are added along with herbs such as finely chopped cilantro or mint.
Have this Indian yogurt sauce as it is or throw in some finely chopped or grated vegetables (such as cucumber, onions, tomatoes) and even fruits (pineapple, mango, etc). They are a perfect accompaniment to your favorite Indian curry or biryani recipes.

Steps
- 1
Whisk your yorgut a bit to make it more creamy, throw in your ingredients and mix well. Most Indian meals are incomplete without raitas. You can Pair it with biryanis/pilaus, kababs, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or have it as it is to cool your palate down after a spicy Indian meal.
