Pat the chicken breasts dry, then fillet them thinly.

Add garlic, chicken bouillon, five-spice powder, salt, pepper, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and water.

Mix the chicken and spices until well combined. Wrap with plastic wrap and let it sit for about 30-120 minutes. Set aside.

Add tapioca flour. Then add water until the flour's texture becomes solid and not watery. Break up the flour using a fork.

Sift the flour using a large and small sieve. TIP: For flour pieces that are too large, break them up again using a fork.

Bake in the oven at 212°F (100°C) for 12-15 minutes. Separate the flour to prevent clumping.

Add the egg to the marinated chicken, mix well. Coat the chicken with the baked flour.

Fry the chicken until dry. TIP: Do not fry too long to prevent the chicken from becoming tough.

Make the sprinkle seasoning by mixing five-spice powder, chicken bouillon, and chili powder.

Sprinkle the seasoning over the chicken. Ready to serve!
