Collect all ingredients.

In a pan put together 750 gm jaggery, 2 cups of water and 1 tbsp fennel seeds, boil well and drain.

In other pan put together rice & 3 cup of water boil rice then drain.

Heat 1 cup ghee in pan; add 6 green cardamom, Raisins and jaggery water.

Cook till it comes to a boil, add ½ kg boiled rice and mix well.

Simmer for 30 minutes. Dish it out and serve hot.
