Ingredients

  1. For the shawarma marinade, we need:

  11. 1/2 teaspoonshawarma seasoning
  12. 1 pinchwhite pepper and a pinch of ground ginger
  13. 2ground mastic grains
  14. 2cardamom pods
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. Salt to taste
  17. For the sandwiches, we need:

  19. Potato wedges or French fries
  20. Garlic sauce
  21. Pickles
  22. Roughly chopped lettuce or cabbage (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    After washing the chicken fillets well, slice them lengthwise into strips. Mix the marinade ingredients and coat the chicken strips. Cover and leave overnight or for a few hours.
