Japanese Teriyaki Chicken

This dish is similar to the Korean spicy fried chicken I introduced earlier, but with a different sauce. My cooking time is quite limited, so I hope this simple sharing will help busy people like me!
Japanese Teriyaki Chicken
This dish is similar to the Korean spicy fried chicken I introduced earlier, but with a different sauce. My cooking time is quite limited, so I hope this simple sharing will help busy people like me!
Steps
- 1
Wash the chicken breast and cut it into cubes. Mix water according to the instructions on the tempura batter mix to create a thick batter and coat the chicken thoroughly.
- 2
Heat a pan, pour in enough oil to cover the chicken, and fry on low heat for 15 minutes. Note that the batter burns easily, so adjust the heat according to the thickness of the chicken pieces. Once cooked, remove the chicken and drain the oil.
- 3
Store-bought teriyaki sauce may not always suit Vietnamese tastes, so I add sugar, seasoning powder, pepper, and fried garlic to taste, along with a little water to thicken without burning.
- 4
Mix the chicken into the sauce in the pan thoroughly for 2 minutes and serve immediately to keep it crispy! Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and enjoy while hot.
