Shola - The blend of Spinach and Lentils

It's a perfect blend of Lentils, Mince (Qeema) and Spinach. My mom used to make this dish a lot with the left over Qeema. One day, when I came home from my University with my friends and we all were starving. I didn't inform my mom that we are coming home for lunch. But at the back of the mind, I knew my mom can make anything for us quickly. Well, we came home; I asked her Do we have something to eat and she said I am cooking DAAL and Rice buy it's not enough for you all. I told her that we all are very hungry. Could you please make something? She didn't say NO, but she said is it OK if I make something from left over, I said YES. We can have anything. Luckily, She had Spinach in the fridge, Leftover Qeema in the freezer and Daal on the stove. I didn't know what was in her mind. I just came out from kitchen and started talking with my friends. She told my brother to go buy some TANDOOR ROTI. In half an hour, She called me and said here you go, your Lunch. I was surprised !!! Haleem, garnished with crispy Golden onion, Julian cut ginger and round cut green chillies. It was looking amazing and I was starving badly. Well, I took my tray in front of my friends and their mouth was wide open and they shocked. I said SURPRISSSSEEE !!!
Whenever we all University friends meet, we all recall that day. Later, my mom shared the recipe with all of us and we all make this dish in our home regularly. Because everyone love this delicious blend!!! 😊
