Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Lightly grease 9x13 inch baking dish

Cook sausage. Drain crumble and set aside.

In prepared baking dish, stir together shredded potatoes and butter. Line bottom and sides of dish wit the mixture

In a bowl mix sausage cheddar cheese, onion cottage cheese, and eggs and pour over potatoes.

Bake for one hour in preheated oven or till toothpick inserted into center of casserole comes out clean. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
