Ingredients

25 minutes
12 servings
  • 2 cupgrated coconut
  • 2 cuppowdered sugar
  • 1/2 cupmilk powder
  • 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  • 1 tspghee
  • 1 tbspchopped pista for garnishing

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Grease a rectangle/ square shaped mould with ghee.

    Grind the grated coconut.

    Add the grind coconut to a pan.

    Gradually add the powdered sugar.

    Stir continuously on low to medium flame.

    Add cardamom powder.

    When the mixture comes to sticky add milk powder and mix well.

    When all the mixture comes together turn off the flame and pour into the greased mould.

    Cut into barfi shape and allow to cool at room temperature.Then refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Garnish with chopped pista and serve.
