Ingredients

  1. Fordough-
  2. 2 cupsAll Purpose Flour
  3. 1 tbspdry yeast
  4. 1 tablespoonSugar
  5. 2 tablespoonsOil
  6. 2 tbspButter
  7. 1 cuplukewarm
  8. 1 cupWater
  9. For filling-
  10. 6medium size boiled potato
  11. 1finely chopped Onion
  12. 1 tablespoonOil
  13. 1 tbspMustard Seeds
  14. 1 tablespoonCumin seeds
  15. 2Red Chilli finely chopped
  16. 1 tablespoonRed Red Chilli powder
  17. 1/2 tablespoonTurmeric powder
  18. 1 tablespoonSugar
  19. 1 tablespoonLemon juice
  20. 2 tbspCoriander chopped leaves
  21. as per taste Salt

Steps

    In a cup add Lukewarm water, yeast and sugar. leave covered for 10 min to activate the yeast.

    In a bowl add flour, salt sugar Add the activated yeast mix. Add water and make a soft sticky dough.

  3. 3

    Add oil and Knead continuously for 10 mins.

  4. 4

    Set the dough in a greesd big bowl and covered it with cling film or damp towel, keep at warm place for 1 hour.

  5. 5

    To make a filling heat the oil in a pan add mustard seed cumin seed when it gets splutter add chopped onion and red chilli, cook for 2 minutes.

    Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, mix it well the mashed the potatoes and add.

  7. 7

    Mix it thoroughly now add sugar and lemon juice again mix it well better ways we allowed to mashed it becomes the size of samosa are very small so we need smooth filling.

    Add chopped coriander leaves, stir and cook for a few minutes before turning off the flame.

    Cool it at room temperature.
    Preheat oven to 180C.
    when the bread has doubled in size, give it a knead.

    You will feel all the little air bubbles popping. That's good, we will ensure that your bread rises evenly in the microwave.

    Take half dough and roll it out on a floured work surface until it is round 2 mm in thickness.

    Using a round Cookie Cutter approx 6 cm in a diameter cut rounds of dough.

  13. 13

    Take a filing and place around a teaspoon of it into the middle of one of the dough rounds

  14. 14

    Using your thumb fold the middle up and bring the sides to meet in the middle almost like you are making an open wonton.

  15. 15

    Place into the buttered baking dish start with the outside edges and repeat for the rest of the discs.

  16. 16

    Repeat for the remaining dough and filling.
