Ingredients

  • 1 cupbasmati rice washed and soaked
  • 1 1/2 cup veggies(potato, carrot,peas, onion, capsicum)
  • 2 tspgaram masala
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • as per tasteSalt
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/4 tspsugar
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds and cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsphing

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pressure cooker take oil add mustard, cumin, hing, turmeric, and all veggies and give a mix.

    Add red chilli powder,garam masala, coriander powder and saute 1 min.

    Add rice salt, sugar, water just above rice level and pressure cook for 1 whistle.

    Ready to serve hot.
