This is authentic south indian breakfast.
Steps

Heat a small kadhai and add moong lentil.

Fry them till aromatic. Add rice in the bowl containing the roasted moong dal.

Rinse both dals and drain very well.

Add them in the pressure cooker.

Now add all the ingredients. Pour water and cook it for 7-8 whistles.

Let the pressure set down.

In a small pan add ghee.heat it and add cumin seeds and curry leaves and let them splutter. Add cashews. Fry them till golden. now pour this the entire tempting on the Pongal.

Mix very well.

Serve hot.
