Steps

Wash gram dal thoroughly and soak it in water and keep it for 4 hours.

Put 1 cup of water, turmeric, salt, and lentil in the cooker and put it on the flame and bring one whistle.

Open the lid when steam leaves the cooker.

Strain the dal with a large sieve and keep it cool down.

Chop onion and green chilli.

Now strain the curd with a sieve.
Add lentils, onions, chilli and dry masala and mix well. - 7
Chana Raita is ready.

Note- Do not throw away the remaining water of pulse and use it to knead the dough.

You can also make a soup by adding cumin seeds, and lemon juice.
