Cooking Instructions

Sieve flour, soda and baking powder twice.

In a bowl, add condensed milk, butter, sugar and blend them with the help of a blender or whisk.

Again blend well juice, zest, food colour and vanilla essence.

Now add dry ingredients to wet in two batches. Beat till batter gets mix. Do not overbeat.

Fold in the pistachio/cranberries. Pour the batter into a greased tin. Bake at 140°C for 40-45 min.

Cool it on a wire rack. Dust some powdered sugar and cut into slices.

This is like a variation of the Orange Yogurt Pound Cake recipe (ID:566906), but I decorated it so it could also be used as a eyecatching gift.Since the whole orange including the peel is used, it's best to use chemical-free oranges. Leaving the orange syrup overnight will elminate any bitterness from the orange peel.
