Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 cupsDried Yellow Peas soaked and drained and boiled
  • 2 tbspoil
  • 1onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tspjeera
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped ginger - garlic
  • 1tomato chopped
  • 1 tsphaldi power
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspblack pepper
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • as neededWater
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a pressure cooker add peas, baking soda, some salt and haldi powder and boil it.

    Heat oil in a karahi. Add cumin seeds, and onion to the pan and saute till lightly browned.

    Add ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, tomato and a little water and mix. Saute them.Then add coriander powder,

    Add peas and mix well. Add ¼ cup water and salt. Add cumin powder and mix well.
