Ingredients

4peoples
  • 1 cupbasmati rice (80% cooked)
  • 1 cupboiled vegetables (carrots, cauliflower,green peas,beans)
  • 2 tbspoil
  • 2 tbspbutter
  • 1red dry chilli
  • 1bey leaf
  • 1small stick cardamom
  • 1 tbspjeera / cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Cupfinally chopped tomatoes
  • 1/3 cupchopped capsicum
  • 1/2 Cupginger garlic onion and green chillies paste
  • ForMasalas:-
  • 1/4 Tbspturmeric powder
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbspgaram masala powder
  • To tastesalt
  • as requiredFinely chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the pan and add oil and butter now add jeera, bay leaf,red chilli, cardamom stick and saute for couple of seconds.

    Now add ginger garlic onion and chilli paste saute for two minutes, now add chopped tomatoes and capsicum again saute it till oil is separate.add all masalas on it mix well.

    Now add boiled vegetables and toss it very gently, finely add cooked rice and cover the pan and cook for a couple of minutes.

    Now tava pulav ready to serve garnish with coriander leaves.and serve hot.
