The measurements are not that accurate but it gives you an idea on proportions. The ingredients sound odd but they taste great together for fried pickles. I really recommend it! :) just mess around with it while you add the ingredients together and keep tasting to see what way you like it.Luisa Garza

Spicy Doubanjiang Mayo Fried Rice Spicy Doubanjiang Mayo Fried Rice
I made some fried rice with my favorite doubanjiang!I really like spicy food, so I added more doubanjiang. To avoid the rice from becoming gooey and greasy 1. Mix the beaten egg together with the rice. 2. Cook in this order: vegetables, mayonnaise and doubanjiang, and rice. 3. Once you add the rice, turn the heat up to high and quickly finish! I eat this dip all the time.By putting ice into salted water, the vegetables get really cold, and crispy and lose their rather 'green' vegetably smell. If you don't have any doubanjiang, use gochujang instead! If you don't have either, just use ichimi spice (powdered pepper) or shichimi spice! Bitter Melon and Tuna Salad with Spicy Mayonnaise Bitter Melon and Tuna Salad with Spicy Mayonnaise
One Cookpad user called Setsubunhijiki had uploaded a recipe for "Bitter Melon and Crispy Pork With Spicy Mayonnaise" which was really delicious so I rearranged it a bit and added my own touches. I used sweet chili sauce plus mayonnaise to make it simple. The ponzu sauce really brings the flavors together.Just use a pinch of salt to massage the bitter melon, or else the dish will be too salty.Don't boil the bitter melon for too long.Put the onions in a bowl of water to get rid of the harsh flavor. For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by Wanko mama cookpad.japan -
