Ingredients

40-50minutes
  • 200 gsugar
  • 200 gbutter
  • Pinchsalt
  • 400 gflour
  • 1 tspbicarbonate of soda
  • I tsp baking powder
  • Strawberry essence
  • 3eggs
  • Green food colour
  • 2lemons
  • 1 cupmilk

Steps

40-50minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat the oven 180degrees,prepare your baking tins;grease them

  2. 2

    In a bowl whisk butter and sugar till its fluffy and has to change its colour,sieve the flour,bicarbonate of soda and baking powder

  3. 3

    Add in the egg yolks as you whisk the mix

  4. 4

    In a separate mug whisk the egg whites till it becomes a thick foam

  5. 5

    Fold in the flour in the earlier mixture as you add in milk gradually,add 3drops of strawberry essence

  6. 6

    Add in the lemon juice and the zest in the cake mixture as you fold in

  7. 7

    Fold in the egg yolks gentle till they uniformly mix

  8. 8

    If need be add the green color at your preference

  9. 9

    Pour the batter in a well greased baking tin and place it in the oven
