In Kadai oil once it's hot add cumin let it splutter then add asafoetida, turmeric powder,chilli powder and salt and kasuri methi saute for a minute and then add chopped potatoes mix well then cover it with lid and let it cook in low flame for 3 to 4 mins then open the lid cook it for 5 mins on medium to high flame (to make it Lil crunchy)at last add chat masala mix well and garnish it with coriander.
