Soak rice first,after an hour soak daal. After an hour,grind(coarsely) both, one after the other. Mix salt and curd. Allow the batter to rest and rise for minimum of 6hours.

Take mini idli stand or may make regular stand as well. Steam for 10mins. Allow idlis to rest for 10mins and take out in a big bowl.

Sprinkle cheese powder evenly and toss the bowl intermittently. Decorate with ketchup
