Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

Green chickpeas are known as hariboot in hyderabad. This is the most loved snack in my family. Heat oil in a kadai. Add fresh green chickpeas. Saute on a high heat at first for nearly 3-4 minutes. Keep stirring in between. Keep an eye on it. After 4 minutes, lower the heat. They will be done in a few minutes. It won't take much time.

  2. 2

After done, just before taking it off the heat, add the rest of the ingredients and give them all a good mix. Enjoy with freshly squeezed lemon juice if desired.

  3. 3

Whenever these are available aplenty, especially in winters, do try this for your families and friends. I am sure they will love it. You can add any other spice of your choice too to make it even more desirable. You can even store them in ziplock bags and leave in the freezer just as I do. This way you can enjoy them any time of the year. Enjoy!

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
