Ingredients

  1. 2 cupswhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)+ 2-3 Tbsp
  2. 1/2 tbspinstant dry yeast
  3. 1 1/2 tbspsugar
  4. 1/4 cupmilk powder
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 4 tspolive oil
  7. 1 tbspmilk for brushing
  8. 1 1/2 tspsesame seeds (til)
  9. 1 1/2 tspolive oil for brushing
  10. 3/4 cupwarm water + 3 tbsp for activate yeast

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix together yeast, 1 tbsp of sugar and 3 tbsp of warm water in a deep bowl, mix well and cover and keep aside for 10 - 12 minute for activate the yeast

    Combine the 2 cups of whole wheat flour, milk powder, remaining ½ tbsp of sugar, salt and the prepared yeast mixture, mix well and knead into a soft dough using 3/4 cup warm water.

    Add the 3 tsp olive oil and knead well till smooth.
    Transfer the dough into a deep bowl and cover it with a samp muslin cloth and keep it aside in a warm place for 1 hour.

    Put the dough onto a dusted board and knead again using 2-3 tbsp flour and 1 tsp oil till smooth.

    Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.

    Roll each portion of the dough into a smooth round. Place them on a greased baking tray

  7. 7

    Cover it again with a samp muslin cloth and keep aside in a warm place for 30 minutes.

    Brush the dough with little milk and sprinkle sesame seeds over each bun.

    Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 200°c for 20 minutes.

    Brush olive oil evenly over each burger bun.

  11. 11

    Cover it with a samp muslin cloth for 20 minutes.

    Cool completely then Serve or use as required.
