I love coconut! For these biscuits, I used the same recipe of the Lime Biscuits I made recently.
Easy to make and so delicious!

Steps

  1. 1

In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer.

  2. 2

Add the egg and mix it again until the ingredients are integrated.

  3. 3

Add the flour, the baking powder, salt and the coconut. If you are using self rising flour, do not add baking powder, skip it!

  4. 4

Mix it until a ball of dough if formed.Wrap it with cling film and leave it to rest in the fridge for one hour.

  5. 5

Dust a flat surface with flour and roll the dough until it is around 5 mm thick.

  6. 6

Cut the biscuits with the help of a cutter, or if you don't have one, you can use a knife and make rectangles as well as using any shapes to cut the biscuits. Just make sure to keep the size the same so they bake evenly.

  7. 7

Place it in the oven at 180 degrees until the edges of the biscuits are golden brown. Leave it to cool and enjoy!

Hi fellow cooks! I am a "sauce" (read South 😂)American girl(older girl 😁) living in Bristol since 2007.I was born in Chile but grew up in Brazil, between two cultures, two languages, two food planets.Everything happened in the kitchen - the laughs, the dances, the pasta fights, the dog's invasion after each meal, and so on.Everyone in my family cooks.Since a young age, I saw my grandparents, my parents, my sister, my brothers, aunties & uncles and everyone else around me trying to feed me, all the time! It doesn't happen anymore, I have to do it now, for myself and for my family. I feed everyone! Here you will find some of those old recipes and some new ones. Also, you will see that my cooking skills come with nice food photos too.See you in the kitchen!
