Masoor mocha pakoda

First, soak the masoor dal in water for 3- 4 hours.

After soaking it for 3 hours, take the soaked dal out and strain out all the water using a mash strainer.

Now, grind the dal to make a coarse paste using mixer grinder.

Then chop the plantain flower (mocha) finely

Then take the masoor dal paste in a bowl and add chopped onion, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, chopped green chillis, chopped plantain flower (mocha), red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt for taste in it.

Mix all ingredients well.

Heat enough oil in a kadai on a medium flame. When the oil is hot enough, take small portions of the mixture at a time and put them one by one in the hot oil.

Then fry them until crispy and golden from all the sides. Keep flipping them side by side to avoid overheating one side.

Finally, serve the hot and crispy pakodas, with hot tomato sauce.
